If you’ve been thinking about taking Argentine Tango dance
classes, there has never been a better time to learn this dramatic
and sensual dance.
Argentine Tango, unlike ballroom tango which is a preset sequence,
is a purely improvised dance, based on an intimate and strong
connection between a couple and the music. This intimate
connection is what makes Argentine Tango a passionate and
sensual dance.
This course is designed specifically to get you dancing socially as quickly
possible.
The perfect introduction to Argentine tango, No dance experience is
necessary or partner required. At the end of the course you will be
able to move on to the next level where you can expand, refine and
continue to develop your dance vocabulary.
Course Content
The course is taught in a series with new topics introduced
every week throughout the 6 weeks in a progressive programme.
The Beginner's series offer the most comprehensive introduction to
Argentine Tango. The course will provide you with all the foundation
to continue exploring this wonderful dance including the basic steps,
the fundamentals of leading/following, musicality & Rhythm, Walking
& Turning, some elements of embellishments and decorations.

Series 5 2013 - July 21 - September 1st
Series 6 2013 - September 8th - October 13th
Series 7 2013 - October 20th - November 24th
Series 8 2013 - December 1st - December 22nd
Evening Programme
06:00 - 07:00pm Introduction to Argentine Tango (Start of course only)
07:00 - 08:00pm Absolute Beginners Class (Level I)
08:15 - 09:15pm Improver-Intermediate
09:15 - 10:15pm Guided Practica (Practice session)
10:15 - Late Milonguita (Social dancing - Last couple on the dance floor)
Price
£60 per person x 6 week course when pre booked and paid in advance before Sunday
Partner?
No partner necessary. Come alone, with a partner or with friends!
Many of our students book without partners. However it is advisable
to book early so that we can maintain a good gender balance in the
class.
