LatinQuarter Dance Classes.

LatinQuarter's New Dance Classes Commence 7th September 2009.

We provide dance classes at various locations throughout counties Down and Antrim in Northern Ireland. Focusing on social dance skills, we provide a fun environment to learn and practice dance. We work on lead and follow and understanding the dance steps so that dancers are confident in the social environment and can comfortably move round the dancefloor however crowded or spacious it may be.

Also in order to respond to customers' requests and improve our service we have restructured all our Modern Ballroom and Latin classes starting this September. This means that anyone wishing to focus on one Ballroom dance for a special occassion or just wishing to get dancing to a resonable level in one dance as quickly as possible can do so. We have arranged the classes so that we focus on one dance for a whole month and in some cases you can even take a beginners and intermediate course sequentially so that you get a full 8 week course in one dance to raise your standard even further.

This change effectively means that a new beginners class starts every month with a new dance so that customers can plan ahead much more effectively to learn the dances they are interested in.

For our Tuition Schedule please see: www.latinquarter.uk.com/lessons.php

With over 20 years experience between them Mark and Julie felt that the most effective way to teach beginners to Swing their pants would be a 10 week Beginners course! These are followed by Improver classes. Classes are held at:-

W.I Hall,4 Lebanon Gardens,Biggin Hill,Kent,TN16 3HA on Wednesday's Beginners class 8-9pm
Improvers class 9-10pm

and Thursday's at:-

Cornwall Hall,The Methodist Church, The Drive,Sevenoaks,Kent,TN13 3AD
Beginners class 8-9pm
Improvers class 9-10pm

Complimentary tea and coffee and squash is available between classes.

Our classes are frivolous and light-hearted fun. We concentrate on getting the basics right in Beginners then learning new moves to enhance your skill in Improvers. We will teach dance floor etiquette and hold workshops in other related styles such as Balboa,Shag and Foxtrot to aid your confidence when attending dances. We can always help advise with regard to hairstyles, make up, uniforms and fashions from this era too.

If you are looking for a joyful dance or hobby to start, wild about the 1940's and 50's or simply to get fit while enjoying yourself ( Though I warn you breathlessness is a common side effect of our classes..all that laughing!!! ) come along and give The No Name Jive Club a try!
