Argentine tango: the most beautiful, sensual and improvisational social dance in the world. Authentic tango can be simple and elegant, sensual and intimate, or challenging, exciting and great fun. And with the right teachers, anyone can learn to tango...
Come and learn real, contemporary tango, from professional, experienced tangueros who trained in Argentina and Europe. Learn the fundamental principles and movements of this stunning dance in this friendly, relaxed workshop.
All ages (18+) and abilities are welcome, including those who’ve never set foot on a dance floor! No partner needed – single men and women welcome. We rotate partners, and aim to ensure equal numbers of leaders & followers.
These sessions are for beginners and recent beginners. We hope many of our excellent new beginners from the Canterbury Springboard sessions (April/May 2012) will come and join us in Deal, and we shall continue the tango journey together. Brand new beginners who've never tried tango, or who have done some elsewhere and want to join us, are just as welcome!
