Scottish Dance Theatre 2009 UK Tour

Edited: Fri, 27 Feb 2009

SDT's 2009 tour premiers two new works and bring Hofesh Shechter's electrifying DOG to venues who have not already seen it.

Ina Christel Johannessen, one of Norway's most renowned award winning choreographers, creates her first work with the company, featuring 5 mannequins, 5 characters and 5 ghosts in an evocative setting by Ina's long-term designer Kathrine Tolo.

Artistic Director, Janet Smith's new work I Thought I Heard Somebody Calling - a world out of step, time and place - unfolds in a luminous nocternal setting created by international lighting designer, Bruno Poet.
Also, at selected venues, The Long and the Short of it. A gem of a duet, choreographed and performed by SDT's Caroline Bowditch and Tom Pritchard.

SDT Interactive will be running in Glasgow and Stirling and is a chance to see how dance theatre is created plus a full performance of a work from the current season.
